It seems like every day there are hundreds of new brands popping up. Thousands of social posts being consumed daily. SO much information going to our brains.

So, how do you cut through the noise to breakthrough with your ideal clients?

By bridging what Marty Neumeier calls “the brand gap,” or the distance between logic and magic.

The gap is the huge distance between creativity and strategy, between right brain and left. Art, emotion, intuition, soul on the right. Logic, numbers, rationale, judgment on the left.

But the key to building a truly transcendent brand (WHICH IS WHAT I WANT FOR YOU!!! I WANT YOUR BRAND TO LAST, TO BE A TIMELESS HOUSEHOLD NAME, TO BE MORE THAN JUST ANOTHER BUSINESS!!!)…

Is to bridge the gap, because brand magic happens at the intersections.

When you bridge “the brand gap” between all the things society tells us to keep separate, you create something transcendent and extraordinary that has the power to move EVERYONE no matter how they think.

Too often, people go into business only prioritizing ONE side of the list. Then they wonder why their brand hasn't "made it big."

But the brands that become household names master both sides of this list. Think about it: Nike, Apple, Disney…

Affirm your intuition, support it with data. Use your creativity to fuel strategy. Couple emotions with logic. Don’t be one or the other. Be both.

And I get it, not everyone is both or is strong in both ways of thinking, but that’s the beauty of this world. We’re not alone. You don’t have to be the bridge, but you can build the bridge by collaborating with people who compliment your way of thinking with another.

On my team, for example, I’m actually fortunate enough (or maybe I’ve just put in enough werkkkk) that I am truly a blend of both, equally, powerfully. But one of my team members is more left-brained, and the other is more right-brained. One is a planner and architect, the other is an artist and designer. (yes design is strategic but you know what I mean.)

We have a well-rounded group of minds that fill in each other’s gaps, so we can bring well-rounded work to our clients that pierces every heart at the table and every one of their ideal clients’.

If you aren’t able to bridge the brand gap for yourself in your business, don’t worry. You’re in the right place. Click here to learn more about how we combine strategy and creativity to create magic in your brand! 🧚‍♂️
