Turning this candle company into a love letter to Black masculinity through brand identity & strategy.


Frank Daunting came to us in need of an aesthetic that would resonate with consumers typically left out of the candle market, namely Black men.

The end result

Centered around the experience of Black manhood, the branding and packaging we created for Frank Daunting is both strong and firm, yet soft and warm. That duality is represented through warm, rich tones paired with a sleek, geometric logo and modern typography.
