The objective was to demonstrate fluency of VFX design, but I took the assignment a step further by developing a narrative and personally paying tribute to my favorite sneaker, the Nike Dunk. Witness the power of a single object to unite people of all walks (pun intended.)
Through a marriage of historical and original footage, I captured the story of the dunk from conception to the contemporary. To further pay homage to the culture, the colors of the visual effects in the video draw from a famous pair of Nike dunks by Parra, an iconic Dutch skate artist.
